Angling for Perfection!
This achievement is unlocked by successfully catching fish using a fishing rod!To catch fish, you’ll need to throw your rod into the water so it lands in front of the fish! Once the fish sees it, it’ll swim towards it and either nibble or bite, you’ll need to pay attention to which it does! If it nibbles, you’ll need to wait until it bites (it will only nibble up to 4 times so will always bite on the 5th if it hasn’t already)! Once it bites, pull in your rod!

This achievement is unlocked by hitting a single rock 8 times to get 8 resources from it! There has to be 8 resources to come out of it, that’s all 8 spaces around the rock including where you are standing!To do this, you should first dig 2 holes to the corner of the rock and stand in front of them, facing the rock. This is so that your character doesn’t bounce backwards when hitting! Now use your shovel to hit the rock 8 times as fast as you can!Explaining this in words isn’t easy so take a look at this YouTube video to see a visual example of what I mean!

Later on, you might find them washed up on your beach too!

This achievement is unlocked by catching fish without letting any get away!The end goal for this achievement is 100 fish in a row but if you miss one along the way, the counter will reset to 0 (but will still display your ‘high score’ on the achievement) so you will have to work all the way back up!
For example, if you are up to 76 fish caught in a row then miss the 77th fish, the achievement will still show 76 but in reality it will be back to 0, the counter will not move again until you get back up to where you were.My best advice for this achievement is if you miss a fish, quit the game without saving straight away and then load back in, the counter will be at wherever the game last autosaved! The game autosaves pretty regularly so the counter shouldn’t be too far back, but it will always be better than being back at 0!

You will find her walking around on Sundays from 5am till 12pm, if it’s after 12pm then she is done selling and you missed her!Note: if the player hasn’t entered a building or done anything that would cause the game to refresh since before 12pm, then it’s likely that Daisy-Mae is still there!Turnips are a way for players to earn lots of Bells! After his performance, Tom Nook will give you the Island Designer app, however, you’ll need to spend miles at the Nook Stop inside Resident Services to buy the permits for path, cliff and water building!For 3 stars, you’ll need at least 8 villagers and a variety of decorations! My best tips for getting 3 stars quickly is to place a bunch of furniture all over your island, even if it looks ugly, you can take it away as soon as you get those stars! This achievement is unlocked by helping Gulliver and Gullivarrr!Gulliver is a sailor (wearing blue) and Gullivarrr is a pirate (wearing red), sometimes you will see one of them washed up on your beach! You’ll need to talk to them repeatedly to get them to wake up and once they’re awake, they’ll ask for your help so they can contact their crew!For Gulliver, he’ll ask you to dig up 5 parts of his communicator, you’ll find the parts by digging up the spots on the beach where you see water spouting out!
For Gullivarrr, he’ll ask you to dive for his communicator so you’ll need your wetsuit! You’ll find it the same way you find sea creatures (see the bubbles then dive and swim over to the shadow). His communicator is still intact so you’ll just need to find the 1 and return it to him!Both of them will send you a letter with a present attached if you help them, which you’ll receive the next day! Both of them will count towards this achievement!Note: if you help Gulliver 30 times, you’ll receive the golden shovel DIY recipe (helping Gullivarrr does not count towards this)!

Come Home to the Roost
This achievement is unlocked by having coffee at The Roost (only 1 cup per day counts towards this)!Once unlocked, The Roost is a coffee shop that you will find in your museum, run by the beloved Brewster! He serves delicious coffee that costs 200 Bells and you can even have coffee with your friends or with characters that you invite via Amiibo!To unlock Brewster & his coffee, you’ll need to have had K.K. Slider perform, upgraded the museum to include the art exhibit and donated at least one fish, bug, sea creature, art and fossil!
Once you’ve met the unlock conditions, you’ll find Blathers deep in thought inside the museum, talk to him and he’ll tell you about his plan for the coffee shop! To find Brewster, you’ll need to go on a Kapp’n boat tour (click here to learn more about that), he will be wandering the mystery island and you can invite him to open up The Roost!To learn more about Brewster and The Roost, click here!Note: Brewster will give you rewards based on the amount of coffee you’ve purchased! This achievement is unlocked by joining the countdown celebration for the New Year!On December 31st, you’ll find lots of decorations for the New Year in front of Resident Services, including a countdown!
Tom Nook and Isabelle will also be outside of Resident Services, with Tom Nook offering party poppers and party hats and Isabelle offering light sticks!The closer it gets to 12am, the more exciting the celebration gets! Your villagers will eventually begin to gather in the plaza and when there’s 1 minute left, they’ll get ready to count down!
